Four Courts Press

Four Courts Press was founded in 1970 by Michael Adams, and from 1992 it expanded rapidly from its theology base, first into Celtic and Medieval Studies and Ecclesiastical History, and most recently into Modern History, Art, Literature and Law. It has become one of the leading publishing houses in Ireland. Publishing proposals for academic books in all the areas mentioned are welcomed.

The Press publishes some 70 titles a year, not counting new impressions. At present there are over 450 titles in print.

Four Courts Press is a company incorporated in Ireland with its registered office at Malpas Street, near Dublin's historic Blackpitts area and within sight of St Patrick's Cathedral.
